Q: What if my organization doesn't allow online sales of their product?
A: The Home Party Registry does not sell party plan products. The registry is an advertising and research tool aimed at helping individual consultants succeed with their business. If you are unsure if your organization allows online advertising, please check with them prior to signing up.

Q: What areas are covered by the registry?
A: The registry currently serves the entire United States. The searching capabilities of the registry are proximity based using postal zip codes along with city and town names. Future enhancements may include the addition of other countries as well.

Q: How does this compare to custom built websites that some consultants use for advertising?
A: We believe online advertising is one of the best ways to help a business flourish. Unfortunately there are some downfalls to creating a custom website for advertising. Hosting companies charge an average of $15.00 a month to host and serve a website, that's not even counting the skill and hours it takes to create a site. Not to mention trying to get a website to return high on most search engines is a science in itself. Unfortunately no matter how well built a website is, it won't produce many leads if no one knows it exists.

Q: So you believe your service is better than local advertising such as fliers at supermarkets?
A: Any method of promoting a business is a great idea! We're not looking to be the only means of advertising for a consultant, just another tool to help them succeed. So we urge them to continue with any methods they are currently utilizing, such as fliers at supermarkets. But we ask them to consider the amount of people who will see that flier versus the amount of people who search the internet day and night.

Q: How does client feedback work with my subscription?
A: This is another area where HomePartyRegistry.com is unique. We have a feedback mechanism built right into our database. Nothing is better than the praises of others to boost ones credibility. Here's how it works: With the click of a button subscribers can create a custom link for past clients to provide details of their own home party experience. This not only means feedback from clients recruited through our website, but any past client as well. Why not utilize that experience to help further your success?

Q: I'm not really interested in having my email address posted on a website...I get enough spam email as it is!
A: No worries. Your email address is safe with us. When a potential client wants to contact you they'll never actually see your email address. They simply fill out a quick online form and hit submit. The client information is routed to you through our database so your email address is never exposed to them. We do however allow telephone numbers to be added to a consultant profile, and these will be visible on the site. But the decision to add it is completely up to the individual.
We want to assure our subscribers that we will not share or sell an email address to anyone at anytime.

Q: Does Home Party Registry automatically renew itself at the end of my subscription?
A: Absolutely not.  For security reasons Home Party Registry does not retain subscriber billing information. Furthermore, we believe auto-renewing policies to be a questionable business practice since many times a subscriber is unaware of a charge until after the transaction is already completed.
Our subscribers will receive an email renewal notification towards the end of their subscription to alert them of the expiration. At that point the subscriber can choose whether or not to renew with the registry.
